Experience with trade
We import Norwegian Salmon from certified farms which are all adhering to the most rigorous regulations related to sustainability. All salmon products meet the Aquaculture Stewardship Council’s global standards for responsibly farmed seafood. Our salmon producers do not farm genetically modified fish and do not use triploid siblings. We are the largest importer of Norwegian Salmon (Salmo salar) in Greece and we process in total about 5mil kg of fish annually.
We buy Mediterranean sea bass and sea bream as well as other fish from local aqua farms or international producers in order to meet daily demands in the Greek market (food service & retail) and abroad. Our strong position and excellent reputation are our strengths and assets in dealing with all our suppliers and achieving guaranteed Best Prices .

Processing and Logistics
The catch from the fish farms is frozen on board or on land and transported by special refrigerated trucks to our premises; within 72 hours, packed in cardboard boxes. Upon receipt, they are stored in the incoming catch freezer at –18°C. For traceability reasons, the commercial and scientific name of the fish, its origin, its size in grams, the date of extraction-packaging, the fishing area (FAO) and the time and conditions of preservation are written on the packaging of each of the products. In our facilities in Ano Liosia we process fresh fish and package for retail and food service clients. In our premises in Tripoli we bake and process value added seafood.

Freezing
Different from regular freezing that takes a couple hours to gradually lower the temperature until reaching the freezing point, during Flash-Freezing the product is frozen within minutes. This technique prevents ice crystals forming in the cells, which can damage the cell structures and reduce their chances of being functional when it is thawed. Flash-Freezing preserves the cells integrity when the product is at its freshest point and ensures a much smoother thawing process that, if done right, will maintain the quality and nutritional value of the product from the moment it was frozen. Our flash-frozen products ensure maximum freshness preservation and will keep that way until you’re ready to use them.

MAP, or Modified Atmosphere Packaging
Modified Atmosphere Packaging (MAP) is a technology used for our retail seafood and our ready-to-eat meals. This method alters the package’s atmosphere to prolong product shelf life. By adjusting gas composition—oxygen, carbon dioxide, nitrogen—it slows spoilage. MAP maintains freshness, flavor, and nutrition longer, often reducing reliance on preservatives.
Vacuum packaging
Vacuum packaging for fish extends shelf life and maintains quality by removing air and sealing in an airtight environment. Benefits include prolonged freshness, reduced spoilage, and prevention of freezer burn.
Skin Pack
The “skin pack” method tightly seals fish with clear plastic film, reducing air exposure and enhancing freshness. Benefits include extended shelf life, improved visibility, reduced freezer burn, enhanced presentation, and customization options, contributing to efficient and sustainable fish packaging solutions.
Flow Pack
Flow pack packaging, also known as horizontal form-fill-seal (HFFS) or pillow packaging, wraps fish in a flexible film and heat-seals it, preserving freshness and extending shelf life. Its benefits include transparency for product visibility, versatility in accommodating various fish sizes and shapes, protection from contaminants, reduced waste, high-speed production, tamper-evident seals, and consumer convenience.
