In 1995. driven by a profound appreciation for the nutritional benefits of fish and an unwavering commitment to quality, we founded “Select FISH”—a respected enterprise that has since become one of Greece’s foremost leaders in the fields of fresh and frozen fish, as well as ready to eat seafood.

Our journey was initiated by Dimosthenis Georgopoulos, an industry veteran with a rich history in fish trading, whose visionary aspiration was to establish an integrated facility for the import, processing, manufacturing, preservation, distribution, and export of both international and domestic fish products, all within our company-owned facilities located in the Industrial Park of Ano Liosia, Attica & in Tripoli in the Peloponnese region.

What makes us unique
Select FISH is based in Ano Liosia, Attiki and has a new state-of-the-art factory in Tripoli, Peloponnese region which started operations in December 2023. We are the largest importer of salmon (salmo salar) from Norwegian aquaculture farms in the Balkans. We process more than 5 million kg of fish per year and we employ about 100 people.

Select FISH was founded by D. I. Georgopoulos with the primary objective of importing and packaging fish servicing mainly the Greek market.

Construction of factory facilities on a privately-owned plot at Ano Liosia, Attica, with a processing capacity of 5,000 tn/year.
